Der Urlaub war kurz, es war sehr schön,

Vor unserem Urlaub habe ich morgens geschwind noch ein Nähbeutelchen gemacht (ging wirklich ganz schnell), damit ich meine Garnrolle, Nadeln und Schere fürs Quilten mitnehmen kann. Das Fieber hat mich wohl wirklich gepackt - mit diesen Täschchen....

Tja, und ein weiters Fieber hat mich im Griff. Eine liebe Quiltfreundin unserer "Traumquilter" - Gruppe rief mich vor dem Urlaub an - wir kamen irgendwie auf folgendes Thema:
But there is something more, that infected me. A dear quiltfriend from our "Dreamquilter"- group called me a few days before our trip - and we came up with this anyway:
Ein über einstündiges Telefonat, 2 parallele Internet-Verbindungen zu equilter, eine paar Farbfachsimpeleien später und wir hatten eine schööööne große Bestellung abgeschickt. Die Stöffchen sind unsere Farbwahl für den "Beinah-Wahnsinn" NI - ebenso wahnsinnig poppig. Die Lieferung kam innerhalb von 10 Tagen, wenn mich nicht alles täuscht. Wirklich super! Die rechten Stöffchen haben wir zusammen bestellt. Die linken habe ich in meinem "Hamsterlager" gefunden.... Das Buch kam "zufällig" ein paar Tage vorher mit der per Post ;o)
More than one hour, 2 parallel internet-connections to equilter and some disussions about the colors later - and we ended up ordering a beautiful package of fabrics. These are the colors we chose for our "Nearlay Insane"- project - very gaudy. The packages were deliverd within 10 days. The fabrics on the right side are that one, we ordered together. Those on the left side I had in stock. The book casually came a few days earlier by mail ;o)
Heute habe ich angefangen mit dem Nähen. Es macht großen Spaß! Und das ist nun dabei rausgekommen: Block 1 - mit Paper-piecing

I think now it's time to make a new to-do-list. I'll do it within the next days. Toooo many started projects, but, I'll get them done! Somedays!

That bag is sooo cute! Can I ask a picture of the sides? Actualy before that: can I take your idea to make my mom a make up bag? She uses a ziploc plastic bag, not pretty at all. I just learned how to sew zippers and I have a million bags I want to do.
I found you through May Britt and your pincushion. I also put it together wrong. But it turned out really nice. Like a star instead of a flower.

super Täschchen. Hast Du das selber entworfen, oder gibt einen Schnitt dafür? Ich brauche auch so eins... nämlich für den Urlaub.
